David A Boothman.
David qualified as a chartered accountant in 1977 with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) in the UK, and following five years with Ernst & Young in Europe and North Africa, worked in the USA before joining an Isle of Man practice in 1985. He is a past chairman of the Isle of Man branch of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW), a keen trainer of young accountants - the professionals of the future (of which 1-2 per year), and now heads up the 50 strong multi-disciplinary team in the accounting, legal, banking and secretarial disciplines which constitutes the Oakfield Group.

David is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, a qualified Member of STEP and a Member of the Securities Institute. David has over 16 years experience in the Finance Industry specializing in Corporate & Trust, Fiscal structuring arrangements, Fund Administration and Fund Management business having spent many of those years with the Nedcor Banking and Investment Group on the Isle of Man. Prior to settling in the Isle of Man David was contracted overseas by the Saudi Royal Family in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the Schwire Group in Papua New Guinea.
